The map is done for the project 'Aapnu CEPT' using the surface narrative craft of 'Mata ni Pachedi'. The craft-form is traditionally practiced by the nomadic 'Devi Pujak' community of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The map designed by Namrata Toraskar, Yusuf Chiniwala, Rajvi Patel and Aditi Agarwal was done as a part of the course 'Narrating Stories through Crafts' conducted during Spring 2017 by Rishav Jain, Kathan Kothari and Shemal Pandya (teaching assistant) at Faculty of Design, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India.
